'Elixir' is an Arcona 40 Deck Saloon built by Boo Marin of Sweden in 2001. She is fitted out to a very high standard and has a luxury interior. 6 berths are contained in three separate cabins, with 2 heads incorporating hot & cold pressured water and showers. Holding tanks for waste permit operation in environmentally sensitive areas. There is a 4 burner stove with oven & grill. Hot air central heating ensures comfort if the weather is cold, there is even an inside steering position should conditions be adverse. The boat has modern electronics including GPS, Plotter, Radar and VHF radio.

As can be seen from the pictures the saloon is spacious with ample seating around a polished dining table. When needed auxiliary power is supplied by a Volvo MD22 diesel engine with saildrive and 3 blade folding propeller and gives a top speed of just under 8 knots.

Elixir is Department of Transport inspected and approved and carries a full inventory of safety equipment.
